This is a double page spread of 'LimeLight', which is a free magazine. I like this layout of the double page spread, which is very similar to my own flat plan of a double page spread. From looking at these pages for the double page spread, the page works well due to the fact that it's a group of girls it brings their personalities across to the audience. I will be using similar page set out for my own magazine, however the colour of the background will differ from one you can see in 'Limelight'. I love the way in which the pictures are put across the page, as it gives it another element. This is not the convention of music magazine to present the double page spread of such sort. I want to present my layout of my magazine in such a way due to the fact that I want my audience to capture and get a close insight of my chosen artist (Paiidz). It would also make my magazine look unique and engaging.

Why I chose my interview questions
I chose to have such questions due to the fact that I thought it would be interesting to get further insight of the artist (Paiidz), in order to make my double page spread and front cover stand out. This in itself would break down the wall, making audience feels closer to the artist (relationship). I conducted a small survey asking my audience what sort of facts they wanted to know from Paiidz hence why some of the questions are asked.

Shot list
This is my shot list I have created before taking my photographs. This is done in order to give me some ideas of the type of shots I could use, helps me to be better prepared.
Recreating my flat plans (front cover/ double page spread)
This is the front cover of my music magazine (flat plan). I have changes the colours slightly (yellow, purple and black). I have used the colour wheel in order to ensure that my colour scheme works well together (done by using the colour wheel). There will be no text boxes (although in my flat plans, text boxes can be seen. I used this as a guide line, but due to the fact that I pressed too hard with my pencil lines , I was not able to rub it out completely. Sorry!) Inaddition, I will not be using all the colours that are visible in the text boxes. so in other words, not that many colours will be used on the front cover. Lastly for the front cover, the name of the artist "Paiidz" would be much bolder and bigger when it comes to me actually creating it.
In terms of my double page spread, when it comes to be creating the actual magazine, I will ensure to make the main image lager. This could be done by making the image take over about two columns. Or the other possibility is to make my artist take up the whole of the columns, rather than only half. In addition to the double page spread, I will make the tile much lager and stand out so that it's eye catching. By having the title much larger, this would contrast the standfirst which would be a little bit smaller than the title. This would overall, give it a nice element.
