Today I will be going down to croydon to see if I can do my research on the sub genre of music magazine I will be focusing on. So far I have gone down to different shops within my area and other areas. I have found out that the particular genre of music that I want to create my own magazine based on, is hard to find and locate due to the fact that it's mainly based in America. This could all come down to the fact that this genre of music have bigger market in America rather than in London, making it hard to get them in shops. I hope I will have more luck today in finding such genre of music magazine (finger crossed).

What have I learnt?

What have I learnt from analysing rock magazine:

•  Use colours connects well with genre e.g. Rock magazine uses the colour black throughout.
•   In order to get better shot for the image, ensure to use angle of gaze.
• I will make sure that the text used reflects and relates to my genre.
• Use both sans serif and non sans serif in order to make the pages/text stand out. As well as making it easier to read (with the use of both sans serif and non sans serif).
•   Use bright colours in order to engage and attract audience. I will be looking and analysing more magazine front pages that relates to the genre I will be basing my magazine on.
